Siblings’ HOA Form Failure

Siblings’ HOA Form Failure

While Critically Ill and Just Out of the Hospital (Again), I Reluctantly Requested Help,

Siblings’ failure to help submit an HOA remodeling application required to avoid additional legal actions, legal fees, and HOA fines. While critically ill, I reluctantly asked for help. It turned into another nightmare. The deadline was legally mandated to avoid additional fines.

They failed to get a $10, 000 guideline requirement removed (I did it myself after I recovered).

They failed to collect the required contractor forms (each on required a quote, license, Certificate of Insurance and Permit).

On the submission date, four critical application supporting documents were missing.

MY request for updates was met with derogatory accusation of being an information general (more derogatory term not used here). I had asked for a 4x4 matrix (4 contracts x 4 documents) so I could track what was in place and possibly help with documents still needed.

Additional quotes to save money would have allowed for waiver reimbursement, but were never even considered.

The stress exacerbated by illness and pain.

Reducing my stress has never been a shared goal.
